Clearing Ground for New Home

While we had cleared some brush and a few smaller trees east of the prayer garden, it was now time to clear it out and make way for the foundation for our new home.

Started with clearing the pile of rocks from around the large oak tree.

More trees are cut down, felled into a pile in the middle of the area.

Larger trees are now down.

Most of the trees have been cut into firewood size pieces and piled up by the fire pit for later use. The remaining brush is piled into the fire pit and burned now.

Stump grinder is brought in to grind the stumps into sawdust. Fast and efficient!

The area is now clear, and trucks have started bringing in base for the foundation work about to start.
